Body, Mind, and Soul Connection

Wellness Coaching (Non Recovery based)

Many individuals believe that diet and exercise are the sole components of good health.  They are important, however recent studies show that there are several other factors that significantly influence our overall well-being.  The diagram to the right illustrates the various elements that directly impact our health both physically and emotionally.  Each component plays a crucial role in determining the longevity of our lifespan.

Wellness coaching helps people understand how key areas of life shape overall health.

  • Emotional: managing your stress and moods is known to lower illness risk and create stronger relationships and purpose.
  • Occupational: fulfillment supports mental balance and reduces burnout, giving us purpose and a sense of belonging.
  • Social: connections enhance emotional and physical resilience.
  • Intellectual:  continuing to educate ourselves, learn, and evolve helps build self confidence and defines our purpose.
  • Financial: stability lowers stress for 58 % of workers.  It can improve focus and health by maintaing a leveled nervous system.
  • Environmental:  our environment, or space we spend the most time in, directly affects our mental health.
  • Physical: activity and nutrition reduce chronic disease risk and boost energy.
  • Spiritual: meaning fosters inner alignment and life satisfaction. Addressing all these dimensions together supports lasting balance and well-being.

Our wellness depends on balance.  By looking at each of these elements, we can determine a holistic pathway to re-balance what may be out of alignment.  For instance, you may be having trouble sleeping.  After non-judgemental review, we determine that you've been stressed over finances.  We can then focus on the root of the issue, finding financial stability, bringing the body and mind back into a balanced state.

For those needing addiction recovery support, these elements are broken down even further.  We compassionately evaluate our emotional stability, coping skills, triggers, self care, relationships, and more....

Wellness Coaching topics that keep us balanced and grounded when balanced.

Why work with me?

Bio Individuality & Wellness Coaching

The Bio-Individual™ Health Coaching program through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition introduced me to the idea that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to wellness. By exploring how nutrition, lifestyle, mindset, and environment uniquely affect each person, the program inspired me to pursue wellness coaching that honors individuality and supports a holistic, balanced approach to living with greater awareness, vitality, and intention.  I offer a compassionate, non-judgemental holistic approach to understanding and changing behaviors.  My guidance is rooted in spirituality, always reminding ourselves to trust the process.

Regardless if you are someone suffering from substance abuse needing recovery support, or are just in need of someone to help you feel more balanced and aligned in your life, I hope you take that first step and connect to see how I can help you.

Client Testimonial:

"Going into Health Coaching, I wasn’t sure what to expect. I knew my goal was overall health, I had no idea it would take me on a path of exploring my curiosity in spirituality. I currently work with Michelle, and she shifted my mindset about what Health Coaching is and how it can cater to areas in my life I want to lean into. She has taught me more about how to explore my health through my spirituality, to listen more to my intuition and create gentle and compassionate space for myself. I took my first yoga class ever through UCDH and loved it! I am exploring new ideas for my spiritual health and feel confident moving forward having her guidance. Michelle has inspired me to look outside the box when it comes to my health, it’s not just nutrition and movement, it's mind, body, and spirit.

I am grateful for Michelle!”

“Michelle has a great sense of humor, listens and offers positive feedback to suggested ideas to keep my wellness in mind.”

“Michelle is such a blessing.  I can’t say enough good things about her.   She helps bring a different perspective and kindness to myself that I am often in need of.”
